It was a really tough decision for me. I started out wanting 10s, I liked the idea of my hands not being above the fairing and the thought of not having to change cables or wires. I decided to go with the 12s because in the end I thought for all the work I wanted something that looked drastically different from stock. I'm really happy that I did. I know several guys that have 12s and 13s of other brands and the monkey bars are taller so know that going in. If I had it to do over I would go 14s or 16s. Not because I'm unhappy with what I have; I think I would like them that much more.
Don't forget to check out the 13" LA Choppers Prime apes too. For those who are not sure for 12" or 14". they are in stock and shipping daily. They cost a bit less than the Yaffe's too. Both are really nice, but I want to order my parts and get them soon so I can dig in and get the mods done.
I have 12's on mine. I love them. Thought about 10's also, but I am glad that I went higher. Like it is said above, 12 inch PYO bars are taller. Good luck.
