i am going to take the starter to the starter guy on my lunch break and have him test it.
I have another question, I am going to take off the true dual system and go with a 2 into 1 pipe, can i get rid of that bracket that is inbetween the starter and the primary or do i have to leave it in their for spacing?

My exhaust bracket is not between the starter and primary. It is on the right/outboard side of the starter. The starter touches the primary direct. If this is how you have it mounted it might be the problem.

is your vance and hines 2 into 1 or is it 2 innto 2 i was thinking if it was a 2 into 1 system that the bracket would not be used since their is no pipe crossing over on that side

I have true duals but my point is the exhaust manufacturer will supply a bracket if one is needed. Most of the larger manufacturers have a pdf on their website of the installation instructions. You may be able to see there or call them about the bracket.

The bracket was my problem I had in between the starter and primary and that spaced the starter out too far. Thanks for all your help. It is starting perfect now!
