fat baggers painted inner fairing

Anyone buy a fairing from fbi, is it worth the money or can i get mine painted for a lot less?? I have bought a painted tank dash from them and it was nice paint matched perfect.

depending on the year and color of your bike a local body shop can do it for alot less fbi is way over priced if u ask me. the reason i say the year cuz harley keeps there colors top secret for at least a year from my experience iam a painter and some colors are almost impossible to get unless u buy direct from harley and there colors match for **** and they are usally single stage. my bike was sedona orange i changed the color to firemist orange si i dont have to deal with harley colors. sorry for the book hope this helps.

what should it cost to have one painted? in say Vivid Black for a street glide?

my bikes 08 crimson red sunglo i think they want $400.00 at fbi. Thanks for the info.Is this color available through HD?By the way the your bike looks good roadgliderick

you should be able to get that color from any autobody supply the problem lies in the newest years 11 -12 models.i paint all inners for $200.00 customer buys paint but i will tell ya right now reds are the most expensive paints. go find a bodyshop take your fairing apart i bet you can get it done for no more then $200 if its more then that find another shop. good luck to ya. thank u .
