Tj316 & Udawg, nice nice nice looking screens man!
This will be the VERY FIRST MOD for me in 2013. Jason thanks for the time and continued R&D to make this product what it is!

If you don't scratch the itch, it just gets worse, and when you do finally scratch it feels so much better, lol.

tj316, I just came back on today and saw your post, I see that you already have help, otherwise I definetly would've responded. I like what you did with the fans, if you come to Bikeweek I don't want to see them, might make me think about another set, and I already have a spare, lol.

I received my fans - chrome with thermal switch over a week or so ago and they look FANTASTIC. I'll be putting these on my new CVO Ultra in the near future (no need up here in New England at the moment).

I ordered mine with the B+ connector, on the CVO this connector is right beneath the bottom of the fuel tank. Are most of you folks removing the tank to do the wiring?

I've never removed a tank, but in searching some threads it doesn't seem like a big deal on the newer models.

Thanks,
Joe

If I were you, I'd install them. You would be surprised with the cyl head temps even in this cooler weather. With the thermal switch installed, the fans will come on. My trike head temps avg 240* with the fans running.

Default Got my fans on....chrome is the bomb!!!!

Really easy to install. Nice fit and finish. Glad I spent the extra $$ for the chrome. Plus, he had the chrome in stock!!!! 5 days from my order, and had the fans! Thanks, Jason.

Everyone says how easy it is to install... But are you all removing the tank to put the wire in the channel under the tank? Or are you just snaking it under the tank as best you can without removing the tank.

I've spent some time looking at my CVO and there doesn't seem to be a way of insuring the wire does not fall and hit the heads without removing the tank to get the wire safely out of the way.

Thanks again,
Joe

I wondered the same thing when I installed the fans on my 2012 ultra. The tank is very easy to remove. I can have it off in about 5 minutes. I,ve had it off 3 times now, once to install Jason's fans, once to install the thermal switch for the fans and one more time when I installed heated hand grips. If you have a service manual removing the tank on these newer models is a breeze.

Just wondering if the tank can be lifted up high enough to run the wires from the rear > forward without doing all the fuel line disconnects? Haven't looked at the manual because the fans won't be installed for awhile ...
