2000 Ultra Classic, engine will crank but will not start. It has been doing this for a couple of weeks now but eventually after spinning a few times and letting off the start switch a few times, it would crank, now it will not start at all.. It is Fuel Injected.
Check for engine trouble codes. Did the check engine light come on when you first noticed the hard starting? Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you have the run switch on and then turn ignition on? Guess would be Crank sensor.
I have an 05 would not start once just cranked. Engine code was Crank sensor out of sync. It got worse cranking more and more before starting, Changed sensor starts on first crank now.
Did you check for engine trouble codes anyway? There may be a stored inactive one there. Do a search on here there are several posts on how to do it and what the codes mean. Crank sensor is around $50.
