Default Suggestions for Frost on Windshield

Anybody have a good suggestion for getting frost off the windshield? This has never been a problem when traveling on my Sporty. It has a quick detach windshield that I just take in the room.

On a recent trip, I went out and both sides of my UC windshield were covered with thick frost. Had to reschedule a meeting until later in the day once the frost had melted. However, I will not always have the option to reschedule and adjust my plans.

throw a warm cloth over it in the morning. ( warm like room temp---like a motel towel)

or

throw a cloth over it the night before.

mine is below my line of sight so... ( the top edge "appears" about 40' in front of the bike)

Either cover it or, if you forget to do that, turn her into the sun if you can.

I have discussed making a windshield cover with the Ole Lady. I have my motorcycle cover away. That thing was a PITA.

Was afraid to put a warm cloth that it might crack the shield. Was about 18 degrees.

I'm impressed, Frost on my windshield is mother nature telling me to go back inside and get another cup of coffee.

Changed out to an 8 inch windshield so that I can look over it much like on the sporty. The wind still goes overhead without buffeting.

That's too bad you're having to park your bike outside. I would do as Mike suggested and simply put a bath towel over your windshield overnight. You could of course steal your wifes hair dryer while she's not looking and go out and defrost your windshield. Be aware though that this action can have a not so good reaction with the little women.

Just as a reminder though, since it's gotten cold enough for you to get frost on your windshield, be aware of the possibility of black ice on those frosty mornings. Don't assume that where the road looks dark or wet that it isn't frozen.

A small plastic trash can liner w/ the internal zip ties works well & very cheap.
Slip it over & pull the strings... good to go.
