anyone who has installed the 12 inch yaffe monkey bars on a 2011 street glide? what cables did you use ? harley OEM? part #? i want to use a black braided style
If you put on the 12 then please buy some new riser bushings. I did not and had to go back and put them in. Inner fairing almost taken off again.Better to do it the first time.Helps alot with the handle bars swaying.
thanks for the heads up , i actually ordered 10 inch , misread my own email, the 10 inch have a 12 inch rise , i contacted yaffe to see if stock cables will work on the 10 inch , a few guys said they do .
are you happy with yours? comfy? good quality ?
I have 12s. I went with Magnum Sterling Chromite. They have black. +8 on the clutch (probably could have gone +6) and +6 on brake. Make sure you get the upper and mid line for the brake.
With 10s I think you'll be fine with the stock brake length. I would extend the clutch 2" so it doesn't bind and you don't have to reroute the cable. You don't need wiring extensions for either. The 12s you just have move the plugs under the radio.

Absolutely love these bars both in comfort and looks. I was not a big ape bar guy but I understand now.
I am 6 ft 3 in and my arms are a little less than straight out from shoulder feels real comfy.
Good luck
