I had a plug thread going. Wanna try it here also.
I finally got a chance to ride my bike for the first time this year and it's running like $hit! Kinda weird though, it ran fine when I stored it. Filled the tank full with gas with sta bill and it sat in a heated garage all winter. Pulled it out twice and let it run for 20 min. Hopefully this isn't a bigger problem than fuel. Don't think it matters but it's a 10 SG 96" 9200 mi. w 555s, fat cats and a pc5. I put in new hd double platinum plugs put in fresh 93 octane gas and went on a 15 mile test ride. Unfortunately it's exactly the same. As I said before the bike was 100% fine before I parked at the end of November. Bike fired up and was fine for about 3 miles today. Now it's $hit. It will fire up and idle fine, it's once u hit the throttle it's like its not there. No power. 4 th gear at 55 felt like I was in 6th goin 55. What ya think?
Yea next year it will not get started at all. I've been advised that's not good on it.
Battery is fresh green of the tender.
I've looked over everything I can and its all plugged in and tight.
Good luck, I have had to charge or condition my battery before, it helped a ton. I would have thought it to be a fuel issue but a properly charged battery is also important.
I think the Stabil is your problem. That stuff breaks down. The few months of winter here in Ohio is short enough to avoid using it. Never used it , never needed to.
