Friendly Reminder -
Mobil Gas Pumps with Speed Pass MAY / WILL make your keyless ignition inoperative when parked in front of the pump. (like no FOB present)
I just push my bike forward about 12 inches (and alarm sounds), then - All Good

Yup- the alarm sends out a signal saying " hey Fob".
at that point other any other alarm fobs and RF devices like the speed pass , toll transponders etc. might all say "who me" ?
and the correct response get lost in the noise.

Good info. I wonder how many people never figure out to roll it forward? I would think this would affect cage fobs too and possibly lock someone out of their car. Not so easy to roll a cage forward.

you have no recourse for any fraudulent charges, unlike a credit card where you have no responsibility for fraud.

One of the reasons I stayed away from the speed pass, heard a couple of stories where one was lost or stolen and by the time it was reported, the owner owed plenty of $$$$. The speed pass isn't as popular as it once was in my area most Mobil stations aren't even equipt to handle it anymore.

instead of rolling your bike forward, why don't you just use the manual override code? seems like it would be easier to me....
