Guy there name Bill K. aka billy the kid.
Went out of his way to get me a great deal on my new flhtk that no one could touch.19k otd
rate that a 10.
plus I know him aswell
+1 on Chicago HD. Bought my last two bikes there. Great honest pricing lower than the other local dealers. Parts department always helpful and efficient. Service department quick and fair pricing.
Parts department above average. They usually have the parts I need when I need them.
Service department is good. I have been happy with the work I have had done there for the past 10-15 years. That may be subject to change now that a lot of their mechanics are leaving the dealership to go work in the oilfield. Also, their labor rate is below the going rate.
Sales department is another story. Basically, it’s their price or the highway, they will not work with you. A couple of years ago, I tried to trade one of my bikes for a sportster for my wife. They offered me about half of what the trade in value of my bike and wouldn’t budge on their price on the used bike I was interested in buying. When we walked out, I told the OL that I would never buy another bike there. Since then, I have bought 3 bikes from different dealers.
I live on the Illinois-Wisconsin boarder north of Chicago and while there are 3 HD dealerships within 20 miles of my home I choose to do ALL of my business with UKES of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Great "family owned" shop with fair and honest pricing and great service in their shop. They go out of their way to serve owners from all over. They're also a great place to stop along the way if you happen to be traveling north or visiting Milwaukee to see the HD Museum, or the HD Engine Assembly Plant just outside of Milwaukee. Check them out!
After doing business with that dealer since 1968, I wont do business with them again as long as they have the same general manager. He didnt have time to talk to me after I had a problem with the service department over charging. Not a people person. A sales person at the dealer tried to charge me $1,000.00 over list price on a L.E.O. Special.
I agree with that one... I went in with no clutch while I was on the road and I asked the service tech, after it was "fixed", what the problem was and he just shrugged his shoulders. Had I know what their solution was I wouldn't have kept riding... it completely burned up in short order (but at least I made it home to SC).

It would take a total disaster for me to EVER buy even a shot glass at ANY Rossmeyer dealership... I mean, I would have to be at my last possible choice of problem solution, including every Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, fix the bike in my hotel room, you name it.
Good to do business with. No pressure sales staff, bought mine through Dale, always comes over and says hello when I stop in. The parts department are knowledgeable. Gotta take it in for the clutch recall so Ill see how the service dept. treats me.
