Neat old thread, glad it got bumped. There are two dealers in Tulsa, Myers Durren and a Route 66 and I like both with a slight favor to Myers Durren. I have a sales guy at Myers Durren that I like to work with, Route 66 is a little closer to the house and there is a parts guy that really knows his stuff. There is a service person that I like, she moved from one dealership to the other. BTW, I bought my first Harley at Myers Durren in 1962 (before there was a Durren).

After doing business with that dealer since 1968, I won’t do business with them again as long as they have the same general manager. A sale’s person at the dealer tried to charge me $1,000.00 over list price on a L.E.O. Special.

Fletcher’s Harley-Davidson (Clearwater, FL 33764)

You can’t ask for a better dealer. Every aspect of the dealership is top notch. I‘ve bought two bikes there and $$$$$$ of parts. A number of people working there worked for Jim's for years and moved to Fletcher's and can't be happier. (Disclaimer: I don’t work there and never dated any of the women there.)
Nothing's changed, Jims don't care as they are the only dealer in Pinellas Co. now since Fletcher's closed shortly after Bob's passing away.
We all miss Fletcher's Customer service!

Bought mine at Jacox Harley in Mississauga ON, got a good deal and was treated right.
But...........
Whenever I need anything it's Barrie Harley all the way. Great parts guys, great service guys, nice merch ladies, and the owners are hands-on, friendly, down to earth people, and usually somewhere in the store attending to customers. What more could you want???

When you walk in you are always greeted by everyone there with a smile. Nobody walks by without greeting you and offering their assistance. They work hard to earn and keep you as a customer! On a scale of 1 to 10 they earn an 11!

Just an after thought -
When quoting prices on labor they go according to recommended book times and as of yet (4 years later) they have never taken the full "recommended" time to complete any repair or service. When you walk in willing to pay what you were quoted and end up with a smaller bill you can't help but smile. It say a lot about their honesty and integrity!
it certainly does

Buddy Stubbs Anthem.

Great place when things go well but in Service dept when they make a mistake a horrible place all the way to the top. I will never ever spend a cent at their place again.

Do these dealers go to the same asshat school of management?? Finding a good one seems to be the exception.

A++ These folks have been in business since the mid-1970s. Both sales and service have always treated me right.

My home HD dealer is San Jac Harley Davidson, Pasadena, TX. IMO my thoughts.

1. Dealer has been open since 2007 best guess. Were not best overall, but better than most.
2. Since then, Sales Dept., has improved a lot. Toby Boothe is one of the most friendly sales people I have encountered.
3. Service Dept., is good and techs are pretty good. Standard rates by the MOCO. Ethan Hamala is one who keeps up with his customers he serves.
4. Parts Dept. Good people, know their stuff, but dealer will not discount, retail only. Albert Cruz, knows is business, friendly and helpful.
5. Motor Clothes Dept., Good stock, willing to help or order it for you. Cindy is the best.....

So would I recommend them? Yes depends on what you are wanting and looking for.

Nice thread, if an when I need a dealership (service while traveling) I can avoid the duds!

Sun Harley Denver, Colorado:
The sales department was typical suck up's during the sale. Nothing since. Does not surprise me.

Girls in clothing department: Awsome! Lot's of cleavage and perfume to keep me coming back like the sucker I am. Angela is very knowledgeable with the riding gear. She helped me pick out a jacket that rock's. And her great cleavage was not the deciding factor lol!

Parts department. Ive owned two Harleys now. Each time Ive been to the parts counter for both bikes, Ive had to return to exchange parts due to getting the wrong parts. One one occasion I had to return twice with a luggage rack. On the second time I took the part out of the box and walk back downstairs with the parts guy to show him it would not fit.

While Sun's deals on their bikes are fair, Ive never really been very impressed with the rest of the dealer.

Waugh HD in Orange, Virginia, terrible, lied to me and gave me my bike with almost 0 oil pressure, TWICE!! Will never step foot in that place again.

Shenandoah HD in Staunton, Virginia is great.
