gonna plug TOAD SUCK HARLEY, in Conway, Arkansas. Have not scheduled anything with service there... yet. But other departments went above and beyond
Started shopping there for a bike. Salesman, Bob, schooled me well while not treating me like an idiot newbie... which I was. Had me sit and feel several while filling me in on the differences. I went back on a not so busy weekday morning and rode a couple. The problem, they had no road kings.
Bought a bike way out of town and kind of got rushed out. Went back to toad suck, sister shop with Lander's in little rock. After a couple of hundred miles I had many questions. The parts folks and salesman spent hours with me answering questions... and filling me in on details I didn't even ask. Taught me a bunch. Service spent a long time explaining details to me when I called and quizzed him. Simply my inexperience with a big harley engine.
I was major impressed with everyone in Toad Suck Harley...aka Lander's in Conway. They went out of their way to help me, clothing all the way across. Can't testify their willing to deal, cuz I didn't. But even got a call at home to make sure I had no more questions.
I bought a new Harley last year and the selling dealer owner sent me an online satisfaction survey. My salesman was always a PIA and was angry during the sale. Also I NEVER got a smile out of the service writers and I told the owner this in the survey.
The GM wrote back to me saying that what I said in the survey was NOT going to help me get anything done at the dealership in the future.
So if you are going to get anything done at your dealership and you get a satisfaction survey you better LIE if you were unhappy in anyway!!! I have owned my own businesses and always wanted to know how my customers felt about my employees.
I won't go back to that dealer because there are several others close by. BTW I live in the KC area.

Every Saturday during the summer is some sort of "event." They have a live band. Some week-ends they're passing out BBQ, or having a Chili Cookoff. Weekly newsletter in the mail. Mid-week get togethers at a local brew pub. Sponsored rides, local chapter HQ for HOG.
Staff knows the regulars. The various departments know me, my bike, how and where I ride. This dealership is 125 miles from where I live, one of the closest in my area. I ride in on the week-ends just to hang out.
I have regular service here. Some warranty service (brake rotors, primary drive, switches in hand grip . . . ) Dyno, and Vance & Hines install . . . Service Dept. is on the ball, along with all the departments.
General Mgr. Mike retired a couple years ago. He's still there most days, still has an office, still pretty much runs the show. (I have no clue what the arrangement is!)
