Service: 10 out of 10, Great service department
Parts: 10 out of 10, nice, friendly, parts in stock
Sales: 9 out of 10, lack of follow up
Promises: 10 out of 10, got everything promised and more
Over all: 10 out of 10
House of Thunder Harley Davidson, Morgan Hill
Service: 2 out of 10, know as House of Blunder
Parts: 1 out of 10, parts mgr an ***, waste of time dealing with him and GM no better
Sales: 1 out of 10, on you like stink on ****, high prices, know it all's
Over all 1 out of 10, I would never buy a bike, have it serviced or purchase parts from them. Nice looking dealership though. Go to San Jose Harley just 15 minutes up the road.

Best of the best is BIKE TOWN, OHIO !!!! BEST customer service, BEST Sales support, BEST hours, BEST selection and the BEST PARTS and SERVICE PEOPLE . Customers like me will come from another State to buy there. It happens all the time !
We've all seen the arrogant HD dealers that want everyone to kiss their assss just to walk through the front door. Folks, those days are LONG gone. The dealers that figured out the winner will be having outstanding customer service are moving hundreds and hundreds of bikes a month.
Bought a 2010 FatBob from this dealership three years ago. Fair deal all the way around and a really good experience with my salesperson Paul. Kept the bike about two years then sold it.
Always loved the RK and have been feeling the itch pretty bad over the last couple of months. Been scouring Craigslist in a 5 state area for the last couple weeks for a good deal on an 09 (new frame design) - but torn between the even newer models with the 103 engine as well.
Walk into the dealership this morning. They've got a 2011 RK Classic out on the used lot with 300 miles for $16,999. I figure hell, I'll go inside take a look at a new ones. Paul is still working at the dealership so I tell him "I'm not in any hurry, this is what I'm looking for: 2009-2012, Vivid Black, less than 10K miles, between $13K - $15K, oh and stage 1 already done" See what you can find and give me a call. He says hold on - let's see what we can do. Comes back 5 minutes later and leans against a brand spanking new 2013 RK, vivid black. We can meet your price on THIS bike right now."
No kidding??? A brand new one for the price I quoted? These guys have always done me good!

I had complete trust in Harv, and since he's retired, the new crew there seem to have maintained his high standards.
I bought my first new bike from Harv in 1978. Harv's shop did all my service and were excellent to deal with. A short time later I moved to San Diego,CA. I have bought several bikes since then, but quite frankly the SD area dealers leave a lot to be desired. They are the typical big store, they care more about developing a relationship with your wallet than anything else.
I wanted a new bike and an adventure, so I recently flew back to upstate NY, bought a new Limited from Drew at Harv's shop. After I break it in, I am going to ride it back to San Diego. Harv's new crew seem to operate at Harv's high standards.

Just bought my first HD yesterday from them, great experience. Danny was the sales guy and he did a great job, very easy, smooth process. I wish he went over the paper work/loan stuff a little more in depth, but that is more my fault than his since I was so excited I didn't ask a lot of questions. I would highly recommend Danny. He has also taken great care of two of my other friends who have each bought bikes from him. The store itself is fantastic. They have tons of clothing and gear to look at/try on, and lots of parts also. The back shop it self is spotless and looks fully stocked for any type of repair my bike could ever need. I am a service manager for an auto repair shop and places that are busy and have a clean shop = top notch service.
The only other HD store I have been to is Dallas HD in Allen. They have a nice store, lots of used bikes to check out, but every time I am in there it feels like I'm at a used car lot. Constantly trying to be sold something, even had a guy tell me the Honda I was riding was a piece of junk..that instantly ended any chance of them ever getting my business.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
**** poor management. One of the sales girls (Jamie) is the step daughter of the GM and she is a crook! I have personally witnessed her set a higher interest rate for a customer on a bike purchase (which IS perfectly legal) because she didn't like him!
Any way, just a **** poor run dealership. Vandervest or RT 43 are waaay better options
Sweetwater HD is OK, but.......
I had them do a service on my Heritage (I was in a hurry and lazy). When they changed the trans fluid, they put the plug back in and the o-ring was all torn and twisted. In less than 500 miles, I noticed a small stain under the bike. I investigated and found the torn twisted o-ring, visible while the plug was still installed!! Of course I drained the trans, replaced the o-ring, and refilled the trans....
I refuse to be their quality control person, the tech should have looked at and/or seen the messed up o-ring. I won't have them work on my bike again.
I've been to Quaid HD, in Temecula, a few times. They seem squared away, but haven't had them do any work yet.
