A+ for City Limits in Palatine Illinois.

They open a huge new facility with lots of room. They took care of me on the sales end after I showed I was serious (Imagine all of the tire kickers that come in to HD dealers on a daily basis!)

The service depart is awesome A+++++
They are open 7 days a week and they do quality work. From my experiences, they go above and beyond to make me happy.

The after sale A++++++++
They make the buying experience fun. The Motorclothes girls are nice....and fun to hang out with. Most of the employees remember my name and what I ride, which means a lot to me.

Harley Davidson of Athens, GA (aka Cycle World of Athens) is my dealer.

I highly recommend them.

They always treat me and my wife like family. I've been doing business with them since 2003 and my wife & I have purchased 6 bikes from them, both new and used.

I don't trust many people to work on my bike, but I trust their service department (Steve, Hippy, and Dana always make sure the job is done right!).

The sales people are HONEST and straight up with you (Barry, Kevin and Mark have given us some REALLY good deals).

They don't have as many instock parts as some of the mega-dealers, but they get anything we need quick and always give us a good price.

The ladies in the softgoods area are always smiling and happy to see you and are very helpful.

The managment and owners will always stop to talk to you. They make you feel at home, like you are a part of the family. Mike, Shelly, Jim and Phil have always greeted us with a handshake and a smile and on the one occasion that I had a problem, one of the owners and the service manager stopped a meeting they were in to address it and take care of it, RIGHT THEN.

The dealership is always doing things to help charities and have often stepped in to help people in need. I won't mention anything specific here because they don't do it for the recognition, they do it to help others (thanks for all you do, Mike!)

Anyone that knows me will tell you that I am VERY stingy with praise, but these people have been good to me and my family and I can not speak highly enough of them.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say Harley Davidson of Athens is at least a 12.

Great staff, competitive pricing on everything.
Service dept is great to work with.
Always new stuff on the floor.
Manager rides and belongs to our HOG Chapter.
Any time they have had someone not with the program they are gone.

That's the kind of guys I like! You can look all you want, and never feel guilty because you didn't buy a thing! Say and do things that irritate them the most, start laughing at them, then post it on YouTube!

I have 3 in my area I frequent cuz they are closest and a 4th that WAS closest..read on..

Schaeffers HD, Orwigsburg, PA
Great knowledgeable sales, parts, service, etc.. staff. The only reason I didn't buy my bike there was that they just didn't have anything coming in used and Keystone HD(below) did. I will take it here for service if needed tho.

Schochs HD, Snydersville, PA
Still a smaller HD shop....they didn't build the big fancy place like others expanded to, so less bikes then others, but nice staff, and a knowledgeable parts and service staff. This place works with the Indy shop I use and I trust my indy, and if my indy trusts them, I give them the benefit!

Keytsone HD, Parryville, PA(formerly Blockers)(now closest to me) great sales staff, decent parts dept., but service dept. is horrible... tried to blame me for a headlight not working when THEY didn't put it back together right after THEY did a different fix and unplugged something. Then recently they told me a service wasn't necessary that other dealers did. NO trust there. Hope that changes for the better people who work there sake.

Crossroads HD, Saucon Valley PA(used to be closest)
Its CLOSED! Because their sales, parts and service were horrible. Plus they always bit off more then they could chew with the MoCo and it bit em in the rear in the long run. If there was a shop to learn what not to do.. it was them.

These other HD places need to keep their eyes open and listen to their customers if they get bad things said...and I don't mean on here.. I mean word of mouth in the area. If the area only has them for HD.. then it will be tough to make a stand when they are the only one around. My area was saturated with HD dealers so the weakest had to either change, or go under. Some changed, but like above, the weakest go down.

Thumbs down

Jeezzz, All these sparkling, gushing commentaries of Harley dealers make's me wonder why the one in my country sucks? From 1-10 I give a 2 for effort to set it up, too bad its squandered.
1. Attitude: Last time in the store the service people acted like they invented the wheel and were not telling anyone how they did it, like they had a patent on ideas!
2. Parts: Pricing a voltage regulator for a sportster is 1300 nis ($338.00)
3. Price: 2008 Sportster bought in 2010 cost 115,000 nis (Now $29,950 in 2010 35,000 USD)
4. Service: Parts installed not per Harley Davidson installation instructions.
....A. accessory lights missing safety shrink wrap going to lights, wires left uncovered
5. Almost no clothing, only over priced boots

Tell me what's wrong with this picture, please!

Ive had good luck with 2 in California,

#1 Antelope Valley HD, great sales manager Gary and salesman Greg, best deal OTD I could find on my road Glide with no hassle dealing. The shop is fair and seems to do good work for the things Ive had done. 2 tires under warranty, a valve job under warranty on my softail and a few electrical problems. Also my 1000 and 5000 mile service on the RG since they were free.

2nd Bartels in Marina Del Rey, great sales manager Jorge and a guy in service froma few years ago named Gary did a fair deal on 2 bike purchases and some stage 2 work on a Sportster. In general they have a rep for being high priced but i got a fair deal out of them in 05 and 07.

It might be cheaper to ship everything in and out of the country as you need it

I got my 11 Road Glide for 18500, my 05 Fatboy (annv model) for 15,900, 05 Road King for 16,000 and a 04 Sportster for 8500 looks like I could have bought any 2 of these for about what you paid for 1 !

Sales manager from my dealership (HD of Waco) just went there, his name is Gerry Coombs. He's a great guy. Sure hated to lose him from here. He remembers you and will see that you are taken care of. Tell him Jim from Whitney sent you!

HD of Waco has been great to me, I've bought two bikes from them. I've never had an employee walk past without greeting me. The General manager (Greg) is always out on the floor making sure things go right. Kelly in Finace is always great to see. TJ & Max in service have treated me great, they are always ready to give some advice on work I do myself. Justin in parts has always been willing to help out and order parts for me. Steve in sales is also a great guy. Everyone knows me by name, it's a "Cheers" type place.
