Texas Harley Davidson, Bedford Texas.

Adam Smith (the owner) has done wonders making this place customer friendly. James the GM, Tommy in parts, Bill in finance, Carl in sales, Stacy in motorclothes and the rest of the team are awesome.

Have 2 in my area.

UKES HD in Kenosha...Would never buy or have them service anything I owned. When I was first looking for a bike the salesman was in a pressure mode so I walked out. Couple of years later bought a 4 wheeler from there DIRT store. Motor had knocking sound so I took it in to have checked out. Tech said it was suppose to sound like that. Funny the other one we bought at the same time didnt sound like that. Finally took it to a place in Milwaukee and the top end got replaced under warrenty and they said UKES should have found the problem. Brother takes his bike in there all the time and has nothing but problems. I figure its his own fault because he keeps going back.

RACINE HD in Racine...Sales were good when I bought my bike but that was 6 years ago so I dont know how they are now.
Service department is average..not much to say there.
The ladies that sell the clothes and such always say hello when you walk in the door and have been very pleasant.
Parts department...Top notch and this is what will keep me as a customer. Sales manager is very smart and knows his job. Let me open an account to deposit my chrome cash so its there when I need it. If I find something cheaper on the internet he will see if he can match or beat the price. If he comes somewhat close they get my business because at least he was willing to try. I dont mind paying higher than internet prices but lower than MSRP because I understand they have overhead. Bends over backwards to make sure you have what you need to do a job and will offer advice if your missing something but no pressure at all to take it...choice is yours to make.
The girl they have working there has come a long way since she started. She is very good at getting what you need and I see her being just like the manager as she gets more experience.

Bartlesville Cycle Sports

Cool people. Knowledgeable. They seem to give me good service at good prices, so far! They are also a Honda Dealer as well as an HD Dealer (small town).. they pay more attention to me now that I have a Harley... they hardly gave me the time of day with the Hondas I bought from them.

My husband and I both bought our new bikes from Great South HD in Newnan, GA. GC is our sales rep and we are loyal to him but the other sales staff is just as good. Most of the employees attend the Hog chapter meetings when they can. They all ride. We have other good dealerships in GA too but Great South is our favorite.

Buckeye Harley Davidson
(dayton ohio)

Parts, sales, motor clothes are all top notch and I won't shop anywhere else.
The service department wouldn't touch my bike if they payed me. Nothing personal against any of the techs. The service manager is a fat *** disrespectful know it all that doesn't know a damn thing. ...........just sayin

As for my experience in the Seattle area, if you would have asked me 5 yrs ago, the following would have been reversed. Things change with new people and/or changed focus on the customer.

Eastside H-D (Bellevue, WA)
Bought my current bike there recently. Best purchase experience of any vehicle I have bought - car, boat, or bike. Friendly, low pressure sales team, mgt that knows what they're doing as far as customer service. Fair deal on the bike, free install of all parts purchased at the sale, no-charge 1K service. No discounts on parts that I know about. Extensive parts and clothes depts. Big time into their HOG org (not really my thing). Willing to give back to comm. (charity fund-raisers, generous giving for school events). A few years ago, I would have warned folks to stay away due to pricing and attitude. 100% improvement now, IMHO. Maybe the recession got 'em to pay attention to the customer?

Downtown H-D (Renton, WA)
Bought my 1st 2 bikes here - in previous 2 location(s). Service really knew what they were doing at the time. New big-sized boutique location (and owners? not sure), my experience was awful. Hardly willing to give time o' day to me as potential customer. Had to seek out a salesman. Asked about specific RK model I was looking for, told they'd sold the last one IN THE COUNTRY with those specific items until after 1st of year, then went to Eastside next weekend and bought the exact bike I was looking for off their showroon floor for a screamin' deal (see above). Really underwhelmed with these guys, and will not return.

San Jose Harley-Davidson

Bought my first Harley, a 2009 Road King Classic, last weekend from a private party. Made my first "real" visit to the dealership on Monday with a small list of replacement parts that hadn't passed post wash & wax inspection. The Parts Department staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Best of all, I enjoyed that all too rare rare motorcyle parts purchasing experience - everything I had on my list was in stock!
