Anyone do PCIII Accelerator Pump feature download?
Just wondering if anyone has done anything with the PCIII Accellerator pump feature. You can download it off the Dynojet website (or at the Fuel Moto website I think).
I would like to know if anyone has also done any additional settings or changes fron any standard map for the 2007 Ultra or touring that worked out good or bad.
Got my PCIII hooked up last week but have only been able to do a couple short rides so I really can't comment on performance until the weather allows we to get out and really ride.

There's a lot in the archives about this. Seems accel pump software isnice but really eats up your mpg. I did the factory download from Power Commander and my bike ran fine. Had it dyno'd and it got a bit more hp and q but now it pops quite a bit on decel. Getting it dyno'd again this evening and will report back. In hindsight, I probably should have left it alone and kept the dyno money in my pocket(or bought more chrome, of course)!

The accelerator program does eat up MPG but adds pickup if you need it. You can adjust it so that it is not as responsive and only comes on if you really get on it. This will not eat up as much gas for routine driving.
The popping on decel can be cured by simply adding gas to the 0 throttle position column on the left. Add 5's from 1250 to about 3,000 RPM. If it still pops add 10"s and so on. I had to used 20's to get mine to stop it. You do not drive at that range and does not eat up a lot of MPG. It adds fuel only enough to let it burn and not pop while the bikeis winding down. Bikes are to lean at that range and this fixes the problem. Dealers are not allowed to tune it this way.
This is why the PCIII is awsome. Lets you tune your bike so that you can be happy with its performance. - Jeff

When I ordered my PCIII from Jamie at fuel moto I asked him about the accelerator pump feature and if I needed it for my application ( 06 streetglide with SEslip-ons and SE air filter)and he said he did not recommend it....................BG
RE: Anyone do PCIII Accelerator Pump feature download?
i've got the acc pump enabled on mine. i really don't notice a difference in the way it runs tho. gas mileage is 50 on 2 lanes, under 65 mph and 40 or so at 70/75 on the slab.
RE: Anyone do PCIII Accelerator Pump feature download?
I've done it both ways, and I wouldn't be without it. Probably makes some difference in mpg; can't say for sure. But the improved performance is worth it.
RE: Anyone do PCIII Accelerator Pump feature download?
I ran on my 2005 Road King, gives you better response, but uses more fuel as it seems to run richer. I pulled the plugs after a month and they were black, a rich condition, I was using 90% so you can adjust it to your riding. I decided not to use it put new plugs in, milage picked up and runs fine I think with out it. So you have to experiment and get the right settings for your ride.
RE: Anyone do PCIII Accelerator Pump feature download?
I did receive an email from Jamie at fuel moto and he did say that the accel pump was not recommended on 07 HD's.
Think I'll leave mine alone for now. Wish the weather was better so I could take this baby for a long ride and see how my new PCIII is going to work. 22 degrees this morning. I don't have that much snivel gear!
