Question Thinking: new helmet

Was having a decent day on the scoot, Heading South west of Grand Coulee Dam, two lane hwy, semi passed me heading east. I wear a half helmet and WileyX prescription glasses. I got hit just below the bridge of the glasses frame on my nose with a small rock.
I was going 65 mph, it hurt like a bitch. No blood but actually gave me a headache.

Full Face Needs:
So now, looking at perhaps going to a full face.
1.) I got a pointy cranium like a bean, so most skid lids are hard to fit me, and
2.) I need the peripheral vision; i could wear my prescription sunglasses with a clear shield.

Who wears or knows of quality full face skid lid, that provides bean head fit, and good peripheral vision?

I admittedly don't wear it very often, but I have a Scorpion EXO500. The XL was a little small in areas, so I went with the XXL. It has a bladder that you can pump up with air so that it forms to your head. For $200 I like it, and in flat black with the emblem removed it looks pretty good too.

Ya I used to go without a windscreen or a helmet allot. I got hit by a passing bee or something one day on the freeway, almost knocked me out. Wear a half helmet and a 8.5" windscreen with glasses now. Hope I'm okay in the future, haven't had an issue in four years.

I've also ben looking at helmets lately, and the Shoei Neotec may fit you well. It might be worth your while to find a local distributer.

Fit is everything - go to a shop with a big selection and try a bunch on. If you narrow it down to a couple that feel good, spend at least 15 minutes in the store with the helmet on. You'll feel like a goof, but it can sometimes take at least that long for a hot spot to show itself.

I have a Shoei head, I wear a Shoei RF1000. The transition from beanie to a FF was a bit of a challenge, but I now love it - especially on long rides/tours. YOu'll end a long day feeling a lot fresher.

I have a Scorpion EXO-900 TransFormer Helmet. It is a Full face helmet with a flip front modular, and a 3/4 helmet,it also comes with a Retractable SpeedView Sun Visor which is very nice. You can quickly convert your EXO-900 from a full face helmet to an open face 3/4 helmet in a matter of seconds. It also has a place where you can add a bluetooth receiver for use with the IMC MotorComm and J&M Comms. I have added the Cardo Scala Rider G4 Powerset, and works great. The sound inside is not very bad at all for a modular helmet. IMO

This is the best advice. Many people offered me suggestions, but I found that only two brands fit me well - HJC and Joe Rocket.

Similarly, I bought a half helmet and none of those fit me well either. Found one that fits great and I run with that.

Find what fits you best! The full face will feel a little more constricting at first until you get used to it.

I only wear full face helmets. Currently have two I switch back and forth with. Shoie QWest and RF1100. Both are designed to accommodate eyeglasses. Also check out Arai.

A friend swears by his helmet, Nolan N43 Trilogy Helmet; huge eyeport (big plus), ventilated, and light. Biggest eyeport I've seen on a FF.
