Default Cruising question

Have a question for someone more experienced with an Ultra than I am. I have a 2006 Ultra Classic with the Screaming Eagle 103 build, 255 cams, running the old SEII slipons. Bike runs really strong, gets an average of 42/43 mpg and I have yet to see an oil temp above 230...although I do have an oil cooler on the way and will be installing this coming week. Anyway, I noted today running on the interstate at 70 mph I was pulling right at 3000 rpm....does this sound about right? Again, bike runs great just new to me and wondered, I guess I figured it might be below that but it is a 5 speed. Here is the only info I have found thus far:

"In 2002 HD introduced the Delphi EFI throttle body and went back to the 3.15 gearing for EFI bikes and the carb bikes continued to run 3.15 gearing as well.
3.15 gearing = 2500rpm@60mph and 3500rpm@84mph
3.37 gearing = 2500rpm@56mph and 3500rpm@78mph"

Input appreciated guys!

here you go:

occasionally a newbie will assert that after a tune up or with "octane boost" the bike goes "faster" at a lower rpm- which is impossible...

Sounds about right for the 5-speed.

2004 Electra Glide with the 5 speed. 95" big bore kit.

Now I have a black bike and am running Amsoil so mine is faster and better. More like 85mph@2800rpm with 180 oil temp.

I kid, I kid!

70MPH@3000rpm is what I am doing also

My 1986 FL had a 5 speed and ran 70 mph at exactly 3000 rpm.
