Flash-based tuners like Power Vision, TTS, and SEPST can adjust idle--to a point at least. Some ECM's force a limit on how far down you can go, as the lowest recommended setting is 900 rpm supposedly to retain adequate oil pressure. I have mine set to 950 (originally 967) and it is fine there. I did try it at 850 rpm, so the '07 ECM will allow it to go that far, but it only idled rougher and without any hint of that old "potato-potato" lope we now recall in our distant memories. My old carbed Evo RK did it at 875 rpm, but I don't think it's even possible with an EFI bike regardless of how low you set the idle.

I think my idle is alittle low. Runs about 800-900. I have an 06 SG and need to bump the idle up. Was looking around Behind the AC and noticed a set screw that did adjust the throttle cam thingy majigy. Anyone now if I can manually adj mine. Just put a fuel moto PC3 on bike and idle actually dropped alittle.

You are suppose to adjust the butterfly by adjusting your throttle cables and the screw on the back of the intake.

But liked mentioned you will need to adjust the computer to adjust idle.
