Happened again yesterday. Off ramp going the speed limit. I'm no slowpoke but wouldn't say I'm very aggressive either. Haven't done any suspension work and don't stiff arm. Since this is an '09 I'd really hate to think what that would have been like on earlier bikes.
I know that on 4X4's steering stabilizers are pretty much to aide in stability as things wear and for extreme situations. That a tip-top shape 4X4 doesn't really need a stabilizer, but I'm convinced we do need it. Worse, even if we didn't need it, Harley should be putting it on as a precaution. Wouldn't cost'em much and they would likely pass most/all the cost to us anyway. I will be purchasing the one Graham recommended to me. Thanks again Graham.
I would like one of these pm as well after reading all these pages please..Thanks 2007 Road glide here... With added Pizza Box IF that makes any difference...
