Come on chaps, put away the handbags! As the OP I am disappointed my thread has prompted so little discussion on this subject, although I have had a lot of requests for the magic bullet, via this thread as well as by PM.

So for the benefit of those of you who do not do cryptic crosswords and have not yet solved the clues given to date, allow me to remove all doubts and say the product I use and recommend is True-Track.

I would also like to assure you all that I have no links with True-Track, except as a happy customer and that I have owned and used their products, on both Touring and Dyna bikes, since before they became sponsors of HDF.

I'll chime in here and share my experience with the wobble: I first experienced it after entering an exit ramp kind of "hot", at about 55-60. This is a ramp with which I'm intimately familiar, it's part of my commute. Take it at that speed in my 28 year old Benz (300SD - a luxury tourer, NOT a sports car) no problem; my Road King shohld be able to handle it NO PROBLEM. Well, there's a dip partway through, not all that noticable in the car. I'm relaxed, I know this road. Let me tell you, I hit that dip & had the chit scared outta me when my bike wobbled! Thought it was me. Tried it again next time, paying close attention to my riding technique. It happened again! Same thing on a different sweeping highway curve. I can take a different line through that curve, avoid the dip & avoid the wobble. It's real, there's NO doubt about that. I do ride my bike harder than many ride a bagger, no doubt about that either, but no harder than some. I am no pro AMA rider and J have a buddy that rides a Gold Wing like it's a sport bike, and that barge is bigger & heavier than my road King. So don't tell me a bagger isn't meant to, or shouldn't be ridden hard.

I just upgraded the shocks with Ohlins 3-3's from Howard, will be rebuilding the forks with some upgraded components and will be adding a brace. I have ~80,000 miles on mine & am very famikiar with this wobble, having experienced it numerous times throughout those miles. Once I learned what it was it makesbperfect sense. Ignorance is bliss, but it is high time to do something about it!

I have been almost bucked off many times due to the infamous bagger wobble. I'd like to get a brace to fix it. Problem is I have an EZ-Up center stand that's using the spot where most of the braces mount.

Can anyone recommend a brace that doesn't mount on the cross piece under the engine? ONe that works well.

I have an '08 road glide.

Great discussion and I certainly appreciate your effort and opinions. I have a fast sweeper with uneven pavement in Colorado and get wobble to some degree every time I go that way. Have checked alignment but haven't replaced or added any components.
