Very literately composed, but "OK chaps, sit up straight and pay attention"? Is that "assless chaps"?!?!

Is there any other kind? Chaps with an "***" are simply leather pants, aren't they?

That's a difficult one! There are now three things vying for that cross piece, especially on 09s and up. One answer is to simply prioritise! What is more important, improved stability or a centre stand? I have a display stand up front, which solves that one for me (you can see it in my sigpic), although I don't see them around these days.

There are alternative products out there, at least a dozen at the last count, but it is difficult to recommend those that don't use that cross piece. They are a compromise IMHO.

Ho ho! You may have noticed I'm British and my use of that has it's origins on a trip my wife and I made back in 2003, when we shipped our bike to the States. We stopped at an hotel in Dubuque for our first night and were asked " where are you guys from?" Despite one of us plainly being a gal or doll. We occasionally adopted 'chap' as a cheeky reply to being called 'guys'.

I have the E-Z UP center stand with the Progressive Touring LInk and Ricor Intiminators in the front fork.No interference and no wobble on my '06 Ultra.
