Hi,
Does anyone have any ideas why the neutral light works when cold but will not come on when the engine is hot ??
I can find neutral but no light.....

Neutral switch on right side of tranny cover.

 

Got the same problem with my 03 EGC....will replace switch this weekend, hope that's the issue.

 

easy enough to unscrew the neutral switch and test it.

it is possible that when you do this, you will find a bad wire connection- or just removing and re-seating the wiring will be the fix.

hot makes for more resistance in electrical circuits.

btw the Speedo sensor is the one held in with an allen screw, the neutral switch is further inboard and screws into the top of the tranny

Mine was flickering earlier this summer. I pulled it, cleaned it good, slightly crimped the female connectors & put it back together w/ dielectric grease. Works fine ...
