12.5 is about the limit for not using extensions. Most extension kits are just a wire with male and female terminals crimped on. They use heatshrink to hold the factory male terminal in the add-on female terminal. Color coding makes them simple to match. Namz is the first company to come to mind.

You will have to extend the wires. It is not that tough. If you run in to issues, PM me and I will give you my phone number...I just finished my second swap on my bike yesterday...Phat performance has an extension kit they sell. I used it for my first bar swap an it was fine. The second time, I had a pin break in the heat shrink and it gave me FITS trying to find...If it were me, I would get a cold beer, sit at the kitchen table and extend and soldier each wire instead of using the kit. It is tedious but it will be done right. If you don't know how to soldier, take a look at Youtube. Look up Flux soldiering...There is a video on there that my brother used and he learned some stuff the Air Force didn't teach me at Tech school...

I would get it all from phat performance. Thys have good prices and good customer service. I put magnum cables on mine and they are great. Stay away from the extension kits. I had up s break off and cause a mess. I would just soldier all the extensions so you know they will hold up...

I got a spool of 18gauge wire and used it to splice the wiring. It doesn't need to be colored since the object is to cut the wire in two place thereby splicing the original end to the longer length. I started from the closest to the hand-grip and staggering the splicing so the splices don't lay on top of each other doing the same when you get down to the 'Pin'. Take your time and use shrink wrap. I added a foot and a half for future height changes which is common.

Yep...that...avoid the extension kits. They are a weak point. A good soldier will never come apart...

Exactly.....good solder, shrink wrap everything and grease it real good during the pull and you'll be real proud of what you've accomplished.....the hardest part was getting the Molex connectors to release the pins but have since bought a Molex pins release tool off ebay.....I can see going 16's someday....apes rock!
