ive posted a couple of threads on here about being umcomfortable on my 03 electra glide ive used alot of everyones suggestions, i now have 12 bagger nations monkey bars and a candc solo seat and they feel great but in a trip thats just like 60 miles my upper back starts bothering me and it tightens up, im gonna start working out to build up my muscles up ther but i feel that i shouldnt have to, ive noticed that when i lay my feet over the floorboards that is they were lower it seems to feel better, the reason i ask is bc its a police bike so i was wondering if the brackets that hold the floor boards on if there is some kind of lowering bracket that brings them down some just wondering if anyone knows anything about this can u please let me know thanks
the floor boards are adjustable on that year/model.
most motor officers have them way up to make for better cornering
so put them where you like.
2.) lookin' cool and being comfy aren't alway the same
no wonder you get tight if you are holding your arms up...and taking all that wind in the chest.
being in shape to ride is always a good idea.
before I do a 2 or 3 week trip, I will do a number of 300, 400 mile day ride loops just to get me and the bike in shape.
