I have a Street Glide and I have to use the Acc switch to get power to the plug under the seat. If your seat plugs into the empty plug in front of your fuse box and you are not using the Acc button then either your not using the right plug (but there should only be one that it fits) or when you wired your ditch lights you disconnected something from your Acc button to make them work.

Harley makes a switch circuit adapter to be able to plug two items into the Acc plug.

Here is a link to the sunray heated seat that has the pdf installation instructions attached so you can see the plug and read were to install.

I've never bothered to look at the lights one the switch. I'll check them in a little bit and post back.

thanks for the info, that was good to read.
i did have to change the pins in the connector because of how i wired my ditch lights but i made sure i have 12v where it needs to be & that the neg side is also in the correct location. (in that acc plug you have two sets of acc switched wires. one set that just runs off the ign switch & the other set runs off the ign too but is controlled by the acc switch by the cruise switch)

thank you for your help that was great info.
