I asked him to knock off the maintenance plan and he had this puzzled look on his face like nobody had ever told him that before and he said (in a very condescending manner) "then who's going to service your bike?" I told him "me". You'd think I had just spit in the Pope's tea or something.
I figure nobody cares about my bike like I do, and if I do my own service then I have the satisfaction of knowing it was done right.

Dealer sales people, repair people, advice people etc. are required to sell.
