Power Vision question
When using the autotune At 100 and the broadband oxygen sensors do the sensors work even if the power vision is not on the bike. I understand how they work with the log tuner pro, but was wondering if they would work whenever you are not using log tuner mode.
Unlike the factory narrowband sensors which are used for closed loop operation the Auto Tune and wideband sensors are only going to be functional when plugged into the Power Vision. The sensors are used to gather data which is used to populate tune corrections with the PV which are then reflashed to the ECM.

I'm not a PV guru but I don't think you have to be to answer your question.
The 02 sensors have to be functioning. If not, how would the autotune work? The autotune needs the 02 sensor data to make adjustments.
EDIT... Jamie answered as I was typing and I'd listen to him way before listening to me LOL. I guess you do need to be a guru. Sorry for the misinformation.

Your pc5 should work too. I just traded in my pc5 for a powervision at fuelmoto. They informed me that my pc5 from my 08 flhx would work with my 2012, but i went for the upgrade while they are running their trade in program.

I wonder if your's worked because it had to be retrofitted for your 2008? The part numbers are different when buying a PC V for a 2009, 2010-12 and 2013.

It wasn't Jamie I spoke with but the guy i talked to said it would work with all of them, just the maps are different between the different years. There may be more to it than what he was telling me, I didn't try my pc5. I'd call and ask them.

Hmmm, I never considered the possibility that the only difference between the years were the maps. I will have to check on that when I am closer to buying a new bike. Thanks for the info.
