Yea i thought about swapping the whole bracket but then asked myself "for what".
Ill fix the piece and avoid the rest of the work cause its not necessary .
I fixed both sides of mine (one side broken and one side not yet). Went to Home Depot and bought 2 L brackets and 8 sets of bolt, washer and nut. Cost about $2 or $3 total, and both sides are stronger than new. The factory parts are VERY poorly made.

Funny! But, since I repaired mine over a year or two ago, I don't have any pics. This is what I bought and used, along with some small bolts, nuts and lock washers. I held the bracket up to the broken pieces and marked the holes. Then I drilled them out, and bolted the brackets in place. One on each fairing brace. This is the MAIN vertical brace, not the braces near the speakers. I have broken and replaced both of these as well, but they're cheap and easy to install.

Well Ragan stuff didn't arrive yet so I made one today and installed it. Going out tomorrow temps supposed to be near 60.
Also found my new braided clutch cable rubbing thru the braid on the left main faring bracket ....it's good to go in that fairing every 5000 miles just to see what's going on.
