Is there a better idea than Torx?

After multiple fluid changes the torx fasteners for the derby cover are starting to show some wear. It is increasingly difficult to get a good bite with the Torx 27 bit. I was able to get the fasteners torqued to spec but I'm afraid that they have seen their last use. Is there an alternative to these crappy fasteners? I would love to have some hex button heads but have been unable to find them. What are you gents using?

Allens from Lowes. They're all over my bike, and the cheap OEM torx bolts are not.

Hardware store prob carries hex in stainless or even chrome.
I've never had problems with torx. Had em apart at least 15 times to boot. Never a problem.

as above, swap to allens...fewer tools to carry on the road as well.

When i am looking for specialty fasteners i go to the little mom n pop Do it best hardware store in town...I still have the same Torx screws after 75000 miles so no issues here...Some really hate them... I have messed up more allen heads and regular hex heads than torx...
