Default Any idea of what to expect with this?
Acquired a FLHTCU in the fall that I already have stripped down to satisfy my winter blues.

I decided to do some mild engine enhancements. Anyone have an idea of what kind of numbers I can expect withe following:

Wiseco 103 10.5:1 forged pistons
S & S 583 EZ gear drive cams
SE lifters
SE heavy breather intake
Power Commander

Heres an idea

"as a great over-all cam" I can't imagine its specs demand 10.5, but they arent published and they don't recommend a compression ratio. Might call S&S for suggestions, the ad also says for softail and dynas. Looks to me like the 551 would be a better choice, in the EZ category.

Yea I rad that too, but my Indy who has been great tells me this is the way to go?

Are you sure he didn't say 585? the specs on that cam look like it wont handle that much compression.

It's the 585 cams he ordered not the 583 I guess I heard him wrong or so he says?
