You guys seem to know what you are talking about here. My bag is taking something that's old dirty neglected and beat up and making it go. I don't know too much about making them go fast.
This is where you come in. I got an '04 rk with 95" big bore, 211 cam, intake, SE heads w/ releases, V&H big shot duals. here is my dyno. what are they diong wrong or what am I doing wrong? I know a 2-1 exhaust would help but what else?
also, I have been told that I don't even need the releases and that I kind of got hosed.
any comments....

My opinion for what it is worth would be to sell the SE Heads and have a set of stock heads reworked. The S.E.Heads combustion chambers don't work the greatest. I think a head swap would help a lot. Different cams would be better, but the 211's aren't bad. [except they are chain driven]

Here's a question my buddy asked me the other day and I haven't really seen anyone post about it.

Are you guys with the higher CPR kits on the 98" motors having any starting issues with the stock starter?

When telling my buddy about the kit he asked if I'd have to get a heavy duty starter or if the stock starter would die quicker? Bryan, Phil?
They have mentioned in the past, I believe that both do not have any issues starting. No compression releases are needed. Bryan has said that his cam allows him to turn over easily.

I'm sure they'll tell you more.

Denis

I am running hi-compression too and my heads don't even have compressions releases installed, still on the original starter also. All in the cam and tuning.
