Eastern performance has the truck light headlight and aux lights for 369 for the set. Got mine yesterday.
If you go back two or three pages, Eastern Performance had a post offering $199.00 for the LED Trucklite or $369.00 for Headlight and driving lights. Much cheaper than the HD LED.
I was thinking of going with the 7" headlight and 4"passing lamp kit. The thing is I don't really ride at night very much. Do they show up any better during the daytime? Are there any advantages if you don't ride at night,or would this just be wasting money? I do like the look, but for the money they're asking, looks alone it's not worth it.
I'm running this combination on my RK. Me and my buddy swapped bikes once and the LED headlight and passing lamps on the RK were very outstanding in the daytime in my mirrors. Very bright white.
for my SG. If you are driving at night in deer country, they are indispensable. Worth the big bucks. I got the rear luggage rack and bag racks with leds.
I got the 7 and 4 inches LEDs. I will not ever have a bike without them again. The difference is night and day. I work shift work. Every three months I am either coming home at 4:30 in the morning or going to work at 3: 30 in the morning. I have cars on the opposite side of the four lane freeways flashing me their high beams. For half a mile down the road I see street lights. The view is like riding at day time. Spend the money you wont be sad you did. Best upgrade and safety feature I have made on my scooter.
This is why I have not traded my SG for a newer model. I love those lights and I would lose a lot of bucks on trade. I will rebuild the motor before I trade.
I just picked up a reflector LED with LED halo off of ebay for a deal ($195). it should be here tomorrow. Supposed to be the same as Trucklight (without gap issues) and HD reflector style as I don't like the appearance or price of the HD daymaker (though the road glide style is alot better looking than the SG style, i must say). http://www.ebay.com/itm/7-LED-Headli...19584e&vxp=mtr
I prefer HID lamps for the headlight over LED. HD Daymaker is way over priced and does not really put out superior light over a HID. Check out SoCalMotoGear if interested in HID. The passing lamps they use a LED depending on the type of passing lamp you have.
