Codes but no issues
Doing some troubleshooting for a buddies 08 SG. Throwing the usual 1510 and 2138 codes but bike runs up to 6250 and shows no signs of stumbling or throttle issues, just can't get the codes to clear. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Did that several times and codes won't clear. That's the wierd thing. Bike is supposed to be in limp mode with those codes but it continues to run normally up to 6250. I would expect the throttle and rpm's to be limited by now.

mine did the same first part of season. After taking to dealer and they were not able to find anything and spending diagnostic fee which was like throwing money on the ground even though I have extended warranty I got on here and asked around. Take your seat off and access you efi module and pull connector apart and lube it with electrical contact grease and snap back together. if you have throttle by wire pull the twist sensor out and check connections. mine all went away fingers crossed.

Had similar symtoms with my 08. Pulled the connector on the throttle body, shot in some contact cleaner, add a little die electric grease and plugged back in. Cleared the codes and it's been fine since.
