Ok here goes I know I'm gonna open a can of worms with this. I am looking to buy a set of Big Louie 4in slip-ons, I cut the CAT out of my header added FL-VIED's I am wondering what size baffle should I go for, and has anybody heard a bike set up similar how does it sound?
I have them on my 07 Ultra with V&H true dual headpipes. I tried 2, 2.25 and 2.5 baffles and I like the 2" the best. Good rumble, bit of a bark when ypu get on it. Too much noise with the 2.5 for my taste.
Rush will probably chime in - but they do usually recommend baffles for the Big Louis based on cat or non-cat head pipe. If I remember right - it is 2.0 without and 2.5 or up with cat. I have 110 without cat and the 2.0 and they are great.
I have the 4" Big Louie's with either a 2.5 or a 2.75, I don't remember, and a decatted header with a tune. Backslash cut. Nice chrome, look great, sound great, nice rumble. I get a little decel popping sometimes, but not bad. Just wish they were a touch louder, but they are good and loud. I love em. I highly recommend them for their reasonable price and great performance and sound.
Just switched to a V&H Big Radius. Had the Rush Big Louies with 2.25 baffles on and decatted head pipe. Ran great, sounded great but decided to go even further. I will sell my Chrome Big Louies that are like new, only on a couple months, for $299 plus shipping if anyone is interested. PM me. Here's a pic of my Louies I just removed.

Have the 4in Louie's (tip compatible) on my 09 with stock no cat headers. Basic stage 1 with SE-AC and a PCV. I spoke with Rush and landed on the 2.25 baffle choice. Base map from fuel moto is working fine along with some minor adjustments by me for decel pop. I added +5 into both fuel tables in the zero % throttle column from 1,500 rpm and up. Just enough to cool down the exhaust a bit.
Can't say enough for the communication and overall customer sevice from Ryan at Rush. My first set had a chrome flaw and he was all over it and took personal charge to make it right.
I'm real happy with the look as they are somthing different than you normally see, and the sound is perfect for me.
