Just wanted to Give Custom Dynamics a shout out for their great customer service. I ordered a set of their dynamic ringz for my ultra back in Feb of this year. Last week I noticed after coming home from a ride that 4 of the white LEDs on the right side light were flickering and/or going out completely. I was able to record a quick video with my cell phone and sent it off in an email to CD at like 11pm. The next day when I got up (I slept in) I had an email from CS stating they had gotten my video, and a replacement would be provided free of charge, and there was no need to send back the defective unit. A short time later (3.5 hours) i got a second email that the replacement unit had been shipped and a tracking number provided. I received the replacement a day later. NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE.
2nd, shout out to the nice lady named Ash at CS who I spoke with over the phone when I called them with a few questions about modules and LEDs I was going to order through the website.
On top of all that I got a 5% off discount email from them for my next purchase. CD has made another lifelong customer.
I'll second that. Ordered the Dynamic Rings, Plasma Rods, LED brake lights, Load Equalizer, and Magic Strobe. Ordered Sunday night and they arrived Tuesday morning. That was even with Laura calling me to explain exactly what I would need for the Plasma Rods to be run/brake/turn. Oh and that was the free shipping option. Typically other companies the free shipping is snail mail 7-10 days.
Awesome customer service. Good to know that they stand behind their product too.
Have always shipped fast for me and when I got my Plasma rods they forgot to send the adapters to make them dual intensity. They looked back at the notes and saw it was their mistake. They sent them out to me free even though I hadn't been charged for them.
I purchased their load equalizer and front and rear LED’s for my 2011 FLHX while I was in Daytona. I installed them a few days ago and they were bright! However, I was getting static on the AM/FM radio when the turn signals were activated. I contacted Custom Dynamics and said they I was sold an older load equalizer model and they wanted a copy of the receipt (which I threw out after the install).
I sent them photos of the unit I purchased from them in Daytona and they confirmed that it was an older unit and that I would need to send it back for them to RF coat and add ferrets to get solve my issue with the radio interference. The woman stated I would be charged a fee to have them to fix it. They also offered a 15% discount on a new one if I didn't want them to fix it. After arguing with the warranty representative (via email) about how they sold me an older unit, she said they wouldn’t charge me the fee so I sent the old one back on Thursday for them to fix, we shall see what happens. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
I purchased the same set up for my 04 FLHT and never had an issue. I hope they pull through.
Can't beat their customer service. A few years back I order some Kuryakyn stuff from them. When I got the stuff, it was pitted with little rust spots. (Not CD's fault). CD called Kuryakyn and bitched them out. Kuryakyn called me directly and apologized then sent me new stuff directly to my house. I called them and asked do you want the old stuff back. She said nope, you can do whatever you want with it.
I called with a couple of questions and they were very good. I then ordered an Arnott air suspension. It was delivered the next day! Unbelievable! Exceptional customer service!
Wish I could say that about other companies. I'll be doing more ordering from them.
