I seem to have continuity through everything but my first bet is the switch. everything I test seems to come up good. Im just Baffled. Is there a fuse somewhere? I have a climbers for the bike and Im still getting my *** kicked. Back to the labor of love, the garage.
There has got to be fuses somewhere. But, Usually there is more than one item on a fused circuit. My guess is probably a bad grnd since it's not working from the front either.
There are several threads on brake light switch. Type in brake light switch under search and you will find your problem. Still going with switch . Safe riding.
Im sure the tail/brake light circuits use the same fuse. 93 used the 1157 bulb and more than likely the socket is toast (this will cause a loss of ground too). If the brake light doesnt work with either front or rear brake applied I highly doubt both switches failed at the same time. There usually is a plug under the seat where the tail light harness runs insde the fender. if you have power there its between there and the socket.
You kind of summed it up when you said theres tail but no brake light even after changing the bulb, my moneys on the socket or a broken wire at the back of the light socket
