oil leak????

oil leak????

I have been noticing oil on top of my point cover( above it in on chrome) No idea where this is coming from. So below Air filter and just above point cover

Is it red? Maybe air filter oil Check the breather lines that run into the back of the air filter?

likely dripping down from air cleaner.

if a high flow type, wipe out the backside of the chrome "football" cover witha rag every once in a while.

this can signify over filled oil tank, many of us run our level a little low on the dipstick

Pushrods tubes? Have you tried cleaning everything up, riding it and rechecking it?

Overflow from breather.

Also; there ARE no points on your bike. That "point" cover just covers an empty hole. Good for hidden stash!

took off air filter .oil inside cover and inside air filter. Just washed air filter with dawn and some green degreaser. Could my dirty filter cause this oil issue
