A long time ago I saw a post about a safety product .
It was a horn relay that if you pushed the horn button once it would just honk the stock horn once. but if you held the button down it would start blasting a louder air horn mounted under the saddle bags and flashing the headlight and passing lights .
Does any one know the name of this product ? the manucatcurer Link ?
It's called Screaming banshee. I had one on my vulcan nomad for a while, it seemed to work pretty well. I'm unsure if it will flash your passing lights unless they're running on the same wire as your headlight, but it does flash the headlight for sure.
For some reason mine kept blowing my horn fuse, but on my buddies street glide, it worked. His issue was finding a place to mount it, and his mounting bracketry kept breaking.
seems like contradictory information to me. if you flash your lights at someone, they may take it as a sign that you are telling them to go, but at the same time you're beeping your horn at them....
Ok I contacted there tech support guy Greg buy email with a few questions he called me right back on the phone and was very helpful.
He helped me pick out the system I wanted and sent me a paypal invoice, was real easy to order .
I selected the $10 option to upgrade to a walo horn as it has a heat shield that seems to make it a bit sturdier there basically the same horn .
I am planning on adding a longer wire . I will tie into stock horn mount the relay under the seat and mount the horn behind the saddle bag.
I bought a black horn, they also have chrome .
When I get it mounted I will try and post some install pics.
