Default Security Key Light On

Looking for a little help. The security system light- the little key- lights up intermittently while riding. And the turn signal indicators on the dash will light with the key light. If I flash the turn signal they go away for a while. While parked the security seems to work right, just flashes. And it resets when I turn the bike off. New battery in fob. What to check?

You might want to check under your seat to make sure the TSSM is securely plugged into the antenna module and nothing is out of line there. Maybe clean off the connector contacts as well. Could be your TSSM is going bad. But that's a long shot.

Check your codes, the light stays on when there are codes present...

I didn't think to check for codes. I'll check codes and connections tonight. I did change the battery last week. The TSSM got moved around. Thanks.
