ThunderMax installed in '02 Ultra Classic.

WOW!!! Is all I got to say. First off I noticed Immediate start up the second I pushed the start button. At idle is swear the bike got smoother and quieter. Guess the quieter part, is a motor running more efficient. Throttle response is instant. When I "get on it" at low RPM's, the 95" destination went away. Gonna have to run a few tanks of fuel through it to see what it's doing with my mileage but...I highly recommend ThunderMax so far..

When I bought the bike, it already had true dual headers on it and we welded on angled Drag Specialties O2 sensor bungs. Best place to mount them is about 6" or somewhere close to the heads. Pretty sure you could mount O2 sensor bungs on Stock header pipes.

I don't think he has O2 sensors, its an 02 Ultra....

I went to a tmax almost two years ago....great! when I bought my fatcat, I made sure it had bungs for the 02 sensors. enjoy!....snip

Me too.

I also can tell you how well the T-max is working as part of a stage II update. I installed the 09' head pipe, (no CAT) with 18mm bungs located up at the top of the pipe by the cylinder head port. I have installed three different tune-ups to include one with the latest Zippers update for better starting. I will have to wait until spring to check the mileage issue but....I will have to suffer through a couple long trips to check it out. Sometimes I hate what I have to do to myself....
