Great news. I had a feeling it was gonna be OK, but you had to go through what you did to make sure. PITA, but bottom line is its good. You were smart to be cautious.
When I did my cams the new lifters pumped up immediately. Not always the case.
I was going to comment that I had a bad woods directional lifter that sounded like that. Just read through it all that and it looks like it was just bleed down. Good news!

I concidered bleed down, that is when I questioned the year and milage. Then I went and listened to the video again. Thought surely in that amount of time lifters that had not been removed would pump up imediatly.
You probably should of let it run a while before shutting it down the first time. Lifters bleed down and make an awful racket after something like this. I know they did when I changed my cam as we'll so I swapped them out immediately. Glad all is well. Nothing worse than thinking you screwed something up. :-)

Yeah, this is my first time going that deep into the engine. Lesson learned though!
