Gutted mine two years when I bought my SG 2011, reduced heat, ok sound, but couldnt get it to run good.Added the Vieds, still the same.Pcv and better throttle response but not what I thought how it should run.Got rid of the PCV and just rode with vieds, then last month I installed Cobra Power Port headers to the exsisting setup.Wow what a difference, way better throttel response, smoother ride, very nice Harley rumble and better mileage..If I could id kick myself in the *** for not doing this in the beginning.Keep your OEM header and get an aftermarket one, you wont regret it.
