Basically alone for reasons stated above. I did like the 9th anniversary of the 911 ride, and that was enough big group for me.

I ride alone to gather my thoughts and unwind, a group at times is nice, but a spontaneous ride where I just leave the driveway and head down any road I choose is the best.

I do both with the GF on the back 90% of the time. Usually no more than 3 other bikes in the group. We usually set a lunch destination or a scenic overlook about 125-150 miles away.

I like alone too, wish my wife rode. She used to but as she (we) got older she had second thoughts, grandchildren, responsibilities so she stopped. All the best and ride safe...

Like to go with a group of just 2 or 3 other bikes. Also, don't like it when they go too slow or If someone else is leading and they won't/don't pass a vehicle when I am ready to.

I ride alone most of the time. But I definitiey like riding with a buddy or two a lot more. Way more fun.

Anything larger than my few "close" friends is a big NO. The few guys I have been riding with for 20+ years are all in sync. We know each other habits and riding styles, which side of the lane they like, if they turns are wide, or cut close. We anticipate each others moves. In a larger group, no thanks. It's less enjoyable because it's more dangerous. The more in the group, mean more stops for gas, smokes, drinks, eats, photos, blah blah blah.

I prefer to ride alone.
I leave the house with no idea of where I'm going to end up. Other than trying to keep the sun at my back there is no particular direction I head. I like it that way. I like to wander around, always looking for a new road to explore. On a normal weekend (day) ride my wife dosn't ask where I'm going or when I'll be back. She knows I don't know the answer.

The 14 years I lived in the Smoky Mountains I loved riding alone because every ride was so beautiful and enjoyable. Here in Florida I have gotten into more group riding because the roads are so boring it helps to have folks around to talk to and enjoy.
