I probably ride alone 90% of the time but I've got a couple good friends that I enjoy riding with, especially on long trips.

I like to break out when I have a day and ride 300+ miles alone and try to stay on back country roads across the state. It's very calming and allows me to reflect on my life and any changes that need made to it.
Also, have a few guys from work that I ride with sometimes when we all can. We like to ride so we also go for a couple hundred miles. We stay apart so no one has to worry bout their lane or what the other guy is doing. Plus I like to stay in the back.
And, my wife and I ride with a few other couples out to eat or something like that. Just cruising type rides nothing major. That's ok too. She has someone to talk to when we stop. I don't care much for idle talk. She says I'm too quiet. If there's nothing to say then there's nothing to say. Married over 16 yrs. Nothing I can say she hasn't probably already heard me say anyway.

I don't mind riding with a select group of my friends who I know can ride. I don't consider 20 miles to eat lunch a "ride", some of my friends do. I hit the road for a week or two at a time, none of my friends will. I don't like to stop every 30 minutes for a break...you get the picture.

Alone or with my better half on either my bike or hers. She got her first bike a few weeks ago after getting her license and taking the BRC.

We've been doing "practice" rides after work and on weekends. She absolutley loves it and her excitement for the ride is contagious!

90% alone. I occasionally go out with 5 other riders but they stop too much, one is picky about fuel, go figure... but I know their habits and they know mine. other than that the largest group I rode with was with about 50 bikes. it SUCKED!!!

Most of my riding is alone. I ride to get away from everything and just need to be alone with my thoughts. When I stop for gas or to explore I usually find other bikers stopped there and have had some great conversations. Same with stopping for food. I do occasionally ride with a few others but they too are lone wolves and its a rare trip that we might do together.

I am comfortable riding with 3 other riders, who understand, time, space, speed, and distance,
when passing gages, campers, and 18 wheelers. I have ridden in groups of 15 to 25, not
my cup of tea. You end up the Hot Rods out front, the pack strung out, and everyone else to
slow. I like to ride with one friend, or two, tops for me is 4 bikes total. That just me I am a
old fat guy at 68 with 43 years of riding under the belt on the road. When it comes to Dirt
Bikes, there is more fun with 6 to 8 riders, and it can get a little bit competitive.
