I did this conversion last year on a 96 RK. You do need the cam position sensor but not the crank position sensor. I did go with the DTT but went with a Mikuni carb. The carb wiring harness for mine has been discontinued but I was able to find one. In the above list I'm not sure where they are incorporating the MAP sensor? You will need VOES that connects to the vacuum outlet on the carb. The switch over was pretty straight forward. The hardest part was modifying the EFI tank. Search the EVO section. You"ll find plenty of info in there. Lots of those guys get rid of the MM injection.
All this is true but it's the crank position sensor thats retained. '02 - on dropped the cam sensor when HD went to Delphi EFI. Changing the EFI tank over isn't that big of a problem. Just remove all of the EFI pumping, leave the bracket that holds the fuel pump assy in, leave the fuel gauge sender stuff alone, and wiretie the wires left from the fuel pump to the bracket. The wires are not connected to anything if you use the -00 harness.
