Question ? on clutch pack replacement

Looks like I have to replace my clutch pack after 60000 miles on my 05 Ultra. For those that have done it, did you stick with the MoCo stock or did you go aftermarket? If you went aftermarket, what brand?

Thanks for the input.

I haven't had to replace mine yet at 53,000 miles but if and when I do I'll probably go with Barnett. Ran them on my old Limeys and they were bullet proof.

I ran the barnett kevlar before my Bandit clutch, worked great just needed a little something more when I changed from the 106 to a 120r.

I have the Barnett Kevlar in my HiPo FXRp.

put them in there in 1990, have about 50,000 miles on them.

nice.

check your steels are in spec at the same time, cheap and this is the time to replace them

I'm in the same boat with my 05...I went with the Barnett.

I also have an '05 Ultra and went with the Barnett. They seem to be the best value for the money and I use them in my dirt bikes as well. I also agree with MKGuitar about replacing the steels at the same time. I would also recommend upgrading to the Screaming Eagle diaphragm if you've done any major mods.

I actually used the SE plus one kit. Got it from one of the 20% dealers, probably Zanotti at the time. So far so good with a 107" motor but you can't go wrong with Barnett either.
