SoCal Pappy doesn't filling the air shocks cancel out the lowering kit?I just lowered the rear of my07 Ultra1 1/2" and was unsure how much airI could put in the rear shocks. I have 22lbs in there now and still bottom out from dips in the road. Now i can try 30 and see where that sits me and if i still bottom out.
How did you go about lowering the front? That may be my next step!!

FRONT - I Used Progressive Spings Set - The ONLY ONE to use...
Rear - Used a 1" lower shock and 1 1\4" cam drop (2 1\4" overall drop)... Extra air slight rise may be 1\4" - But as stated A BIT FIRMER RIDE (which I like).... But NOT BAD... But corners like a BMW (lol)

Yep R.U.B. adjustable 1 1\4" - 2 1\4" Only used it on 1 1\4 (as I had the 1" lower air shocks anyway) & I normally ride 2-up (no light weights here (lol)) - So far no problem with the HIGHER air pressure. I do have many of my friends using the 2 1\4" drop and my Son is running a slammer kit 3" rear drop on his RK ALL of us running higher (then normal???) air pressures.
Thanks I'm looking into getting the springs right after this post. Did you install these yourself or did you bring it into a shop. Any special tools needed for the spring install?
I used the e-glidegoodies 1 1/2" lowering kit that repositions the bottom of the shock. I think what's happening is now the front part of the rear fender is too close to the tire so when the tire heats up and expands I get rubbing at slow speeds like rush hr traffic. I believe if I lower the front an inch this will level the bike back off and move the fender further from the tire. I ran home last night with 32Lbs in the shocks and still had rubbing in slow traffic, like rolling up bumper to bumper at a light. Once the scoot starts rolling the noise goes away.
