I got the tires mounted today and put them back on the bike, took a short ride and WOW the difference is noticeable! Grip, traction, and cornering all are great. When I get some time off from work I will take a nice long ride and report back. Let me say this, JakeWilson.com was the right place to get the tires, they were here in 2 days and my local indy mounted and balanced them for $35 each!

I tried mc2's front and rear, and the handling was horrible. I swapped the front to an Avon venom and the handling came right back. My biggest complaint on the mc2 rear is corner exits. Throttle out of a corner hard and the back end tries to flat track. Never had this issue with other tires. Obviously, riding on wet roads must be done with extreme caution. It's not the worst tire I've ever used, but it's certainly not the best. The mileage seems like it's going to be OK, got 8k on it now with lots of tread left. I'll be going with a matching venom on the rear when this mc2 is done....
20k on my last commander 2 rear.. at 17k on second one now and still plenty of treadleft. just changed second front at 21.5k, first front I had changed at 17k.. Found out after first set, keeping pressure at what is on sidewall and not in manual led to better treadwear.
