Exhaust
Ok I just bought my first Harley. 2006 Ultra Classic with 14,000 miles. It has Screaming Eagle slip on exhaust and i'm not to impressed with the sound. Any suggestions on a better sounding slip on? 88 ci Injected
Since you asked...
Carbed or EFI?
If it were me, I would buy a Rush True Dual system, backed by Rush Big Louie Mufflers with 2" baffles... if you like loud, go with the 2 1/2" baffles.
At the same time, get a Screamin' Eagle AC, and a K&N Filter.
Since you've done that, you'd better get a tuner. My preference is the PowerVision, but TTS will suit you just as well.

some of the Guys here are on the 3rd or 4th set of exhaust.
go to a bike night or other event and listen to other bikes.
if you hear something you like, ask the owner- we all wanna talk about our bikes.
keep in mind that too loud is no fun 3 hours into an 8 hour ride...or if you like the radio.

Live with what ya got for a while, before changing anything. Then read Mike's reply again! The novelty of noise wears thin after a while if you like to ride.
